manufacturing process of worm amd worm gear

1. take specs, give to a machinist
2. machinist will set up metal lathe, and add proper metal,
3. machinist will cut gear to specs, remove gear from lathe , clean up lathe.

I am trying not to like you but it is not easy.

Sorry, not knowing the knowledge level of the questor, sometimes I have to state the obvious

There seems to be a lot of developing nations, companies, etc. that are trying to do alot with little or no experience, knowledge, or resources. What is obvious and accepted practice to us may seem unsurmountable by a burgening company trying something new. Unfortunately their lack of knowledge makes them a prime target for someone to take advantage of them.

Here's an article titled Making Worm Wheels on the Lathe that may help. Of course they can also be cast or made from aluminum and plastic worm gears can be molded.
