Is there a NZ standard for the types of couplings used from a Conc boom mast to the placing hoses?.

I have no knowledge of any NZ standards. However, most situations use a "clean bore", easily detachable, coupling such as those manufactured by Victaulic Corporation in Easton, Pennsylvania.
