Pretty cool. Basically 3d camels projected onto the XY Plane. With the slight distortion (the shadows are skewed due to the angle of the sun) there is some really interesting math going on here.

The first noticeable item missing in the picture is the absence of camel tracks.

It is very well done, the shadows of the camels only and lack of other shadows does provide a false view point. Very clever indeed and quite surreal.
