Does anyone know wat is the best instrument and the latest tech for hydrocarbon dew point analysing? currently i'm using karl fisher, hygrofil 5672 and ammetek.. seem like the result always in doubt due to H2s and high CO2 contain in the gas.

anyone have an idea?

Have you checked out the Iomega group?

This group has the latest and some of the best solutions when equipment is in question. Plus this firm is good resourcing your needs. Good luck, Maximo

I don't know enough about the specifics of your measurement, however, one of my favorite methods for making moisture measurements (DP) of gas, is the chilled mirror method. I suggest you check with General Eastern/GE, Buck Research Instruments, etc. The chilled mirror technique is a primary method and does not require calibration. It has certain limitations which the manufacturers will describe to you.

Have you checked out Vaisala as a manufacturer in comparison to Ammetek and Karl Fisher? Their applications engineers are usually very helpful.

(not sure if Omega actually makes anything - they used to carry cold plate instruments at one time though)
