3 choices

  1. Liquid wash with surfactant
  2. pressurized air
  3. scrub pads http://www.foamexasiawcc.com/documents/ScrubPAD_Application_Chart.pdf

(requires enclosed area and respiratory and eye protection)

What is the size of the aluminum sheet? The reason I ask is there are a number of ultrasonic bath systems which will clean the aluminum up to and including medical grade cleanliness standards if your requirements are that exacting. However the units which clean to surgical grade are somewhat smaller than the units used to clean parts for painting so size does matter in this case.

Try www.upcorp.com for custom designed systems if Google doesn't provide you with a number of sources for off the shelf systems.

Aluminium sheet is upto 350 x 550 mm and thickness from 0.25 to 3.18 mm.

We have ultrasonic cleaner but result is not acceptable compared to manual and cotton belt moping at present.

This poweder is a barrier to subsequent printing and laquring process and must be removed.

Can you guide us to ultrasonic cleaning system which will solve this problem ?

Regards.

Nilesh, Sorry to get back to you so late. Last year we purchased some cleaning tanks and fluids from www.upcorp.com and we are very pleased with the improvement in our cleaning processes. Security restraints prevent me from disclosing more details but lets just say our requirements meet or exceed medical grade cleaning specifications.

Call them toll free at 1-800-575-0168. Their fax number is 1-815-232-2150. When you dial the toll free (1-800) number and the recording answers, press "1" for techincal sales.

Dear Nilesh

Perhaps the ultrasonic clear will be ideal for your application and if it is attached with dryer then you will get finished product. If you are processing large quality then I suggest a semi automated cleaning plan attached to your facility. If you have small factory then go for tank and separate dryer and manual operation.

We have a friendly company in Mumbai called Insight Engineering Private Limited. They manufacture such plants both small and big, and also automated version. He has built such plants for many big companies such as Mico Bosch, Bangalore and many others.

You can contact Mr. TS Neelakantan, MD for the company and his contact number
