Numerical Over Current and Earth Fault Relay

03/05/2016 1:23 AM

Explain the relay output if the setting is as follows

In 33KV system Actual CT ratio is 50/5A, and the current setting in relay is 0.1, and the CT ratio entered in relay is 50/1. Then what would be the relay output (at which current relay would trip)

Thanks in advance

CT Ratio entered in relay is 50/5 and setting is 0.1 that means 0.1 equal to 5 .its means setting is on 5 Amp. CT ratio is 50/5 than your relay setting is on 5 equal to 50 amp.

Thanks
