Rectangular Tubesheet Design

03/07/2016 1:09 AM

I have started designing of rectangular tubesheet for surface condenser for 350MW powerplant. High Pressure and high temperature exist. for high temperature, is rectangular tubesheet is the right decision and how do I continue its design?

I'd start on something smaller.

Seriously you are designing a condenser for a 350MW plant? Sounds like homework to me, at least I hope it is.

Stop, right now!

You are not qualified to do this!

Since you seem to not posses even the most basic understanding of tube structures your "design" will fail catastrophically and probably kill people.

If this is homework, admit it.

If you have an actual job designing for a power plant, quit your job today! You are a danger to humanity.

You started on the wrong foot.

When starting this you start with an adequate education.

Then you proceed to design under guidance of the proper engineering knowledge and material. Do not forget that there might be guidelines to do this type of design.

So to answer the question how to continue --> start from the beginning!
