Just read the codes, construction drawings or ask the electrical contractor/supervisor/worker or find someone on the job who has a clue what they are doing.

Considering I'm currently unemployed... I'll help - for a price. Send me all the specifications and pertinent details via private message and I will provide you a quote. Please included details of soliciting organization so I can run the appropriate credit checks to determine your rates.

Oh, I know... but it was a way to let others know that may see this, in case there are legitimate needs out there ;-)

It is better to be too large than too small.

Given a complete absence of information on the number and the size of the cables to pass through it, it is not possible to say anything more.

My experience is that if you can not decide it then nobody can. We will not be doing your job.

You decide it. If you do not have the technical background you will struggle and have these choices:

  1. Learn what it needs to make the decision or
  2. fail the job or make the wrong decision and learn the hard way how to do it.

For the last case there will be somebody telling you how it should have been done.

Good luck!

In NEC -see art. 310-all duct is 4" rated. In my opinion, for power cable you have to calculate the required cross section and to follow Chapter 9 Table I.[pvc duct of 4"-6"].

For instruments, communication and similar steel ducts of 4" will be enough.

However, in order to build such a duct bank you have to order it from specialists.
