Direct axis transient reactance saturated (X'd) (%)

Sub-transient time constant (T"q) (ms)

Short circuit transient time constant (T'd) (ms)

Armature time constant (Ta) (ms)

Quadra-axis sub-transient reactance saturated (X"q) (%)

Here's how the Electrical Power Engineer's Secret Decoder Ring is set up: X=Reactance, T=Time constant, D=Direct axis, Q=Quadrature axis, A=Armature, " =Sub-transient, ' =Transient, Saturated=Short-circuited, Unsaturated=Normal operation.

Now it's time for you to go Google on "Elementary AC Machines Textbook" so that you can answer this interview question better next time.

I must have missed class that day. I guess I better keep my day job.
