Student Designed Cast Protects Football Star

How about this for a class project. The star running back for your college has a broken arm and you've been tasked with prototyping a cast for him that must be ready and usable in just three weeks. The test will be how well the cast, and indeed the running back, hold up in an important game.

I wonder if the formula that the NCAA uses to calculate national rankings needs to account for whether a school has an engineering program. :)
