Ugly Has Purpose

I think the car looks fine.

They should put a fake radiator grill decal on the front.

How about a P-40 "Flying Tigers" vinyl MOUTH decal?

Truth be told, they look more like "Flying Sharks".

"AHHHH! Sharks!"

"Wait, How did they get up here in the sky?"

"Who cares, let's get out of here!"

God is My Co-Pilot is a great book. Should be required reading in schools instead of some the apcray they read these days.

Even nice color doesn't help.....

Just keep a stiff upper lip.

At least when seen from the front, I view that as the nose, not the upper lip.

When driving it, you can't see that part anyway...

Why have they even tried to make it like a front I.C.-engined car, with a non-existent radiator grill? There have been many rear-engined cars that had attractive front styling. They've made it look like somebody else's car, adapted to battery power.

It isn't exactly ugly, but the nose is a little awkward.

The nose design needs to meet the 5 mph bumper requirements, needs to be tall enough for storage or whatever it covers, and there has to be a place to mount a front license required in many states.

We are very accustomed to seeing openings for radiators, so the lack is a little odd, but not ugly, really.
