Stopping Car Thieves With Your Fingers

Hitachi has developed a car security system that recognizes the unique pattern of veins on the back of a driver's fingers. A sensor positioned behind the door handle uses near-infrared light to recognize this distinctive pattern of veins, stopping even those car thieves who have stolen the keys.

Hey Moose, thats great! However, I kinda like mine. Put a mercury tilt switch connected to a 50kV cattle shocker, place the output in the fuel tank and stay awake and watch! Yeah, I know, but it is an interesting thought!
