Can a UHF RFID Reader Sound an Alarm When the RFID Tag is Out of Distance?

Can a UHF RFID reader sound an alarm when the RFID tag reaches a certain distance apart (maximum 1 metre) from the reader? Or must it only be that the reader will sound whenever it detects a tag? I am looking for a reader which sounds off when its designated RFID tags are out of distance; like a tracker. Please if someone smarter could help D:

This depends if the reader is even able to read to to up a distance of 1 m. But then what is the application? What is getting out of range and shall not? Use a cable tie instead. A chain with a padlock and throw the key away.

Oh forgot about the alarm.

The application is using 2 RFID tags- one sticking on to each earring- so that when one falls off, the reader picks up that that earring distance is out of radius and sounds off an alarm. Therefore, you would need 2 of the smallest tags- one for each earring. The first video you showed relates more to it

I suggest a simpler method of loss prevention.

Use a configuration like the following image to prevent loss.

You have defined a proximity sensor, not a tracker.

It would be possible to fashion a circuit that plugs into the earring, which completes the circuit, and then sounds an alarm when connection is broken....with perhaps a silk thread safety catch.....You would need some pretty big earrings for this to work, a little bulky as well...
