Synchronization and London's Millenium Bridge

11/03/2005 11:36 AM

A few years ago I read a book called "sync" by Stephen Strogatz. A good read, and something I would add to my list of good science books to read along with;

Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time"
James Gleick's "Chaos"
Michio Kaku's "Hyperspace"
Albert-Laszlo Barabasi's "Linked"

Here is an article that talks about how synchronization resulted in the closing of London's Millenium Bridge.
