To a certain extent, I have to agree with Lyn, since after the last glaciation some 11-12000 years ago there have been many climate changes, yet I still must reserve judgment on the cause, since there were at least five major glaciations prior to the existence of humans on this planet.

Theories on the causes range from aliens to cosmic rays from decaying stars.
