Good Afternoon.

You know I'm trying to find the quimical composition of the different Nickel Alloys, I'm intersted in the Nickel "A" grade.

I hope that you can help me to find it.

Thanks.

I have a table listing the composition of selected Ni alloys. No Ni "A" is listed. If you have an alternate designation or commercial name perhaps I can help you.

Vermin,

We are investigating the manufacturing of FerroNickel. Are there any specific specifications avaliable for those? I could not find any specs in the literature thus far, it seems it is just a general idea that the Nickel should be between 10 and 20%.

What do your list say? Is it possible to receive a copy? tc@envirosteel.com

Here is composition of Alloy available from India:

FerroNickel composition:

Nickel- 47-50 %
Silicon- 1% (max)
Manganese- 0.25 % (max)
Carbon- 0.9 % (max)
Sulphur- 0.09 % (max)
Phosphorus- 0.04 % (max)
Iron- Balance

Why would I want to buy 10-20 % nickel in your product when I am trying to get to 2 to 4% in regular alloys? I'd be much better off buying pure nickel and not having to do complicated dilution, add on calculations for the manganese, silicon, and conataminating Sulfur and Phos etc. in your product.

10-20% is like methadone.

This might be of some help, not sure if is what you are looking for, but it might be. Just scroll down until you get to the Nickel alloys.
