Scissor lift is a function of the mechanics on many lift types. In order to give any aid we need to know which type/application of the lift. Would do no good to give you a reputable manufacture of car lifts if you want to move freight off of a trailer.

"we are willing to buy scissor lifts for our plant." How will your plant use this scissor lift? Changing shop lights? Is it going to be used indoors? Indoors you have 2 options, 1) battery powered or 2) propane fuel for an IC engine. Neither one is very green, battery acid fumes or CO, both will make you sick or kill you. If it's going to be used out doors you can also find 4x4 RT units with IC engines fueled by propane or diesel. That takes care of the power plant. Now, how high in elevation do you need to go? 5 feet, 50 feet or somewhere in between?

When I worked at UpRight Scaffolding, we manufactured both scissor and boom man lifts. We had 2 (MX15 and MX19) scissor lifts that were narrow enough to pass through a common 30' door opening and when fully collapsed would fit into an elevator. Max. weight for the MX19 was 3,000 pounds which most elevators could handle. Both were battery operate. Not sure what kind of confines your working in and if that is what your looking for.

Thank you redfred, as of now we are using the service of a private company. They were actually our Boom truck operators, we rented their boom trucks and lifts. Now we are looking to buy new lift.
