A Contact Lens That Can "Talk" to Your Smartphone?

More research that could have broad applicability. Medical applications (gathering data and transmitting to a smart phone without human intervention) would be terrific for people who forget to test their blood sugar, for example. How safe would the signals be -- could they get scrambled, advertently or in-advertently?

I don't know. I did see that article, and thought what a great new way to have all manner of small sensors in experiments (if the cost is not too great).

Contact lens to Cell phone, "I see your out of date"....Cell phone to contact lens, "I think you need a good cleaning. Your observations are incorrect, and will be dismissed." ...and so it begins...Maybe the cyber wars will just be machines fighting machines because of an attempt to dominate market share...
