Morning Coffee

11/07/2005 9:14 AM

It looks like the amount of caffeine in your morning coffee can vary greatly, from 25 mg to 214 mg. Just to let you know the maximum safe dosage of caffeine without side affects is 400 mg to 450 mg per day for a healthy adults.
Of course some people where I work like to put twice as much coffee in the filter so I'm not to surprised.

Beer and Lawyers

Could you sell a beer that had such a variable amount of alchohol? I'm surprised that no one has sued the growers of coffee beans or the makers of coffee pots because of "caffeine over-consumption".

400 mg to 450 mg per day?

11/07/2005 2:50 PM

Well, I drink from 6-10 cups a day...Yikes that's 150 mg to 2140 mg depending on which product and how much it contains. NO, I'M NOT JUMPY!

At least I'm getting antioxidents
