Waikato University: Cafe Scientifique

08/11/2007 6:29 PM

Waikato University have been running a few Scientifique get togethers, covering a vast array of sicences for general consumption by the public. I've been to one about genetics, and it was rather good. The atmosphere is casual, in a bar setting.

Anyway, tomorrow they're having another regards below.

this time, the exploration of power is the topic. as you can see its on the 13th at Palms Restaurant and Bar 7:30, which is tomorrow, sorry didn't give much notice.

I noticed it is hard to read

you can get more info from science@waikato.ac.nz or ring (021) 048 6913

will you be going Jack? is over there in Tauranga, which is about 3 to 3 1/2 hrs from Auckland

Unfortunately no, although I do make the trip to Taraunga (fairly) regularly I am unable to make it today due to a lot of prior engagements (one of which is trying to keep the power on up here). Our power supply is not the only thing that is overloaded this month.

If your going, give me a bit of an update when you get back.

I was going to go, but i didn't get a follow up from the professor.

may still go, not sure yet. I'm off to Rotovegas to pick up my parts, and I'll see how I get on for time.
