Woodward 505 Question

Hy . we have facing problem with our turbine control system woodward 505 ,last two days turbine tripped . last cause showing on woodward display is External trip input ,
we check all fail safe loop. contactor also replaced . but still facing same fault any suggestion

Sounds like an External trip signal. Do you have a time stamp of when the event occurred? Check the whole line back and see if anything caused it, if not then it may be interference on the line causing an intermittent false trip.

Had a lightning storm in or near the area during that time perhaps?

Also, have a look in the manual as it is possible that the fault may be somewhere else entirely.

Yes. Get someone who can actually see the equipment to take a look at it instead of wasting electrons by hanging around on CR4.
