Ansys Workbench Help

03/10/2017 8:12 AM

Hi,

Im having some trouble with this model in Ansys workbench. The top of this model consists of two layers with some space between them. When the force is applied on the top layer, the top layer then goes trough the bottom layer. In reality, both the layers should have an deformation.

The model have been transferred from solidworks to ansys.

Can anybody help?

This is going to get complex, you are going to need to apply a load to the second layer and apply a reaction force to the top layer from the second layer. I am not competent in Ansys to help you model it, but perhaps this will help you figure out how to set it up.
