LDO Instead of HSD

If I use LDO instead of HSD for firing the BOILER or HOT WATER GENERATOR will it be economically profitable.

Please define the above acronyms. Please post a blog about the results of this experiment, with recommendations based on local operating economics.

No the price of LDO and avilabality of LDO from oil companies doesent encarage the use of LDO insted of HSD second you should no that emission regulation doesent permit use of LDO insted of HSD thirdly you would end up with Maintainence problems which will offset the cost benifit you are hoping.I have tryied this in a five star hotel in India.

By LDO you mean Light Diesel Oil and by HSD you mean High Sulphur Diesel ?

Worked in the field and never heard that acronym. If that is right then LDO ( vehicle diesel) is lower in Btu's than HSD.
