What is the idea of your connecting capacitor bank in your power output of generator? If it is power factor improvement to reduce KVAR ,then have a regular check of PF and find the appropriate capacitance required for your load by trial and error method . You must keep the PF normally 0.9 .The most appropriate technical solution is to install automatic power factor correcting (APFC) unit attached .When the inductive load is cut off, the system may go to leading power factor resulting in loss of power KVAR . So before connecting Capacitor bank install PF meter and monitor or install APFC.
