PVC Compounds Characteristics

Dear All,

What are the additives to be added for making PVC granules ? and what is the purpose to add that additives?for example

1)PVC insulation compound is 70 degree application,which additives is used to withstand the 70 deg ? Cable sheathing PVC compound withstand 90 deg how?

2)Which is the Flame retardant additive?

3)which additive is used for UV resistance and anti-termite?

4)which additive is used for hardness the compound?

kindly let me know the above details.

Too much questions as for a forum. Are you doing homework or what? Check this link http://www.pvc.org/en/p/pvcs-physical-properties hope it will prove helpful.Also take a look at term paper writing services, ask them questions. They will help you I am sure.

Thanks for your question.

Actually there many companies producing flame retardant additives (agents) and UV resistance additives (agents) such as BASF, KAO, DIC and XINGHUA PIGMENTS GROUP, I suggest you to visit their websites and/or consult their staff for more specific details.

As for all additives, they also have different product lines, so you had better understand what exact product you need first.
