"Dual core processor" is a general term for a processor with 2 cores, whereas "Core 2 Duo" is a particular brand of dual core processor produced by Intel. At the risk of being predictable, I'd suggest typing "Core 2 Duo" and "dual core" into Wikipedia's search.
