I like some of these zero-knowledge transfer strategies, no card numbers or other critical information is transferred during transactions...basically I think how Paypal works, no critical information can be intercepted during a transaction...I love being able to transfer money to anybody securely with just their email or phone number, the seller or recipient receives the money but no personal information....now this is being expanded to other areas...

Would zero-carbon natural gas be hydrogen?

No this technology is a combined cycle natural gas turbine generating power plant that has 100% carbon capture technology....the trick is using supercritical co² as an expander fluid/gas to enhance the efficiency which then makes up for the added energy needed to capture the carbon...this makes the power plant as efficient as a typical combined cycle power plant with the added benefit of being carbon neutral...

WOW! That's some photo! I feel like I've seen it before, but I don't remember such perfect expressions on all the cats' faces. I really can't imagine anyone actually getting the cats to pose like that, so I have to say it is an excellent Photoshop job!

I dunno... photoshop or taxidermy shock? The cats' faces do seem to be revolted.. as you might be when confronted with a dead stuffed conspecific fellow animal.

I was there during that photo shoot and it took ages to get the cats to agree on who stood where .

they were a bunch of spoilt egotistical brat-cats .

The one in the boots is a professional actor, as seen in several recent productions.

My personal favorite from the list would have to be 3D metal printing, if it works out... Interesting comment about "makers vs manufacturers", I would like to think that a healthy balance would result between the two, but time will tell about that. I also think that some great technology will be created that otherwise would not.. even if it's a prototype or proof of concept "one off" that ends up being standardized and mass manufactured because it turns out to be so useful to everyone...

"generative adversarial networks" sound downright creepy, like the kind of AI they make bad movies about. Why do we want machines to think, anyway? I just want a machine to do work. I don't want it mocked up as a humanoid slave either. Next thing it'll be commandeering the 3D metal printer and....
