Direct Reduction of Ore to Iron? Coal Based?

Rotary Kiln based--failed all over the world to make an economicImpact.

You want something of a breakthrough.A different way. What capacity-Where? Budget?

Hi Mike,

Didnt Goldfields run a coal-based DRI unit back in the '70's? What ever happened to that technology, or was it uneconomic?
