Lenovo Z50

This machine has Windows 10 and it keeps restarting randomly, sometimes it just simply shuts off, any idea?

Windows sometimes restarts when updating, sometimes several times....it's normal....and all laptops have a battery save mode that shuts the computer down after a set amount of time...You have access to all these settings...in, a, settings....

Contact Lenovo. This laptop is still available on the market and thus your machine is likely still under warranty. Use this warranty by contacting the manufacturer.

I just did what your link suggested and I hope it won't misbehave any further. There are a lot of useful suggestions as I see. Thanks for the link...

It should crop up in a few days time if it ain't good but as soon as I saw that suggestion it was clear that could be it. Win 10 sure does have more features than XP and I hardly have much experience with Win7 either. It's a useful link for sure...

That was my guess also - though it usually shows as a crash - not an orderly shutdown.

Contact Lenovo, they should be able to resolve the issue for you or they can fix it right there on the phone with you. You might have to give them access to work the problem for you. Happened to me with my computer and they were able to fix the issue.

Hope this helps.

I don't think you really want to offer everyone on this public forum remote access to your computer. Do you?
