Different skills that are required to become successful civil engineer are

  • Teamwork

• Decision making.

• Project management.

• Communication.

• Mathematics, Science, Computer knowledge and Design skills.

• Creativity.

How about the most important attributes (of any profession):

An in-depth knowledge of the subject matter,

Continually updating your skills,

Earning your Professional license.

There are others of course, but without the above you're just someone with a degree.
