Blackview's BV 8000 Back Cover Removal: How-to?

07/19/2018 9:03 PM

HI!

does anyone know how to remove the back cover from a Blackview BV8000?

I removed all the screws from the back cover, as well as both side clamps. The front lid with the screen got immediately loose, but the back cover does not. I have the feeling the (rubber / silicone) gasket may have got tacky and prevents removing the lid from the frame.

in the picture, the upper part is Front.

I tried to slide a thin blade between the frame and the cover.... but it did not work, so far I have the feeling that I am getting close to a no return point (ie: dent in the cover or so)

Thanks!

PS: 1.- I searched the web and did not find this info for the BV 8000. Previous and posterior models (on youtube) are quite different.

2.- The USB "C" connector on the phone does not work (hence, battery does not load---- phone is dead--) want to check if a foreign body may be mechanically interfering / look for malfunctioning connections, etc

Thanks, but as I said in my OP, this model is different to its predecessors and later versions.

According to this, one can contact either Nancy or Kelly with it using Skype; these would be the people to ask and the method to ask it.

I was actually looking for someone with first hand experience who may have had this problem before. Thank you anyway. I have already done the search you did.

Also thanks for publicly showing your interest in this topic by -unsubscribing- cause this kind of arrogance made CR4 loose a lot of followers. Ten years ago 400 people would have been online right now.... at this very right moment there are 86 !... in a couple of years from now there will be only one: you! Enjoy your tea!
