Yeah but I'm thinking if you have enough money to do that, you probably aren't worried about the return....between storage, maintenance and insurance costs, it's probably nearly break even.....That car to be safe to drive would have to have an extensive restoration, that's not cheap...no I don't see this as a money making strategy...If you watch the car shows on TV you've seen enough barn find restorations, you can never sell the car for what it costs to restore it, unless it's a one-of-a-kind collector car or something....of course there are a lot of people that do the work themselves as a hobby or whatever, and make some money at it, but I think they just enjoy the cars more than anything...and the estimated value is not always equal to the selling price....
