Drive location for Long conveyor

Dear sir

Our high capacity & long lengh conveyor are similar to following installed conveyor at varies site, so pl give me drive location of following installed conveyor system

1) 9 km MICARE 1980 coal have given prior references in the forum- partnership with Kaiser Engineers

2) 5.5km Kenecott 1987 copper ore 10,000 tph 6000 hp- MC in partnership with PWH (Germany)

3) 7 km Quintette Coal 1986(?) 2,500 tph @ 3500 hp/conveyor -MC in parternship with Wright Engineers (Fluor)

4) 12.2 km Selby, UK, 1990 2,500 tph; 10100 kW - M for British Coal - ran @ 8.4 m/s - maybe decommissioned now

5) 5.9 km El Abra 1996 Copper 5400 kW; 7200 kW - A, 7,000 tph client's auditor (Cypress Minerals)

6) 5.6 km Los Pelambres 2000 copper ore @ 8,700 tph; 10,000 kW/ each of two conveyors - MC in partnership with Krupp

7) 8km;9km IndoCement, 1996(?) 2,600 tph - MC in partnership with Barclay Mowlem.

8) 9km BHP Billiton CRU II 1997(?) 1,800 tph - MC in partnership with E.L. Bateman

9) 16 km ZISCO, 1995 (?) 500 tph - MC in partnership with E.L. Bateman

10) 6 Km Collahuasi, 2001(?) 10,000 tph x 8000 kW, partner Krupp

11) 10 km x 2 flights Channar Australia 1989, now at 4600 tph - M lead design consultant to Hamersley Iron

12) 5 km, German Creek Australia, 2200 tph, M, partner BMCL

13) 6;5 km, Muja/Collie, 800 tph (?), M, partner BMCL

14) 5 km, Yandi, BHP Australia, 4,000 tph - M - partner Voest-Alpine

15) 7 km, Port Hedland Biway, 5000 tph (4000 & 1000 tph) - A to BHP direct

16) 13 km, Kaltim Prima Coal, now at maybe 4000 tph or more running over 8 m/s - A to client

17) A bunch in Brazil with Voest Alpine, some at 16,000 tph all MC

18) 20.3 km (now dry commissioning -( tracks as designed with multiple horiz. curves), Curragh, Australia, 2500 tph - MC - partnership Laing O'Rouke

Drive location will depend, in part, on what type of conveyor, whether it is an incline, turn, decline or flat.

Location and space available is also a determining factor-- many times there is no choice as other equipment is in the way and drives must be located where there is space available.

I have no idea about the coal industry, My experience is on 17 mi of various conveyors inside a 900,000 sq ft distribution center.

Find a specialist Consultant and pay him to do the design. Then you know it will work. Or you could just burn a million dollars (or DIY) and then get a consultant to design it
