Can You Find The Source/Use?

This slat came from my barn in SW Minn. It's 2 3/4" high by 24 1/2" wide and maybe

3 1/16 thick. It was in a barrel with other pieces of wood of various dimensions.

Three holes in each end indicate to me that it MAY have been a produce crate slat.

The well faded words are Foot High Brand.

Contrast altered for enhancement.⇓

Does anybody know the origin of the brand? What they produced?

Every year, just before Christmas, we send some of our Minn. neighbors 40# boxes of Arizona Oranges. They pass them out to their families.

We've had a peach, apricot and even an apple tree out back in addition to the Orange tree out front. Except for the Orange tree, they all died, probably of old age, maybe for lack of care/water. The apricots were outstanding!

Rixter, Thanks. I doubt it's a melon crate since the 24 1/2 inch dimension is probably the long side. But, maybe not according to SE's last search. Maybe Cantaloupes? That's more than I had before.

I'm going to bet it was an orange crate at one time.

A 2X4 (when they actually were 2" X 4"), and Sis's ball-bearing skates (she wasn't very happy about that) used to make great pushmobiles back in the day.
