09/28/2007 8:17 AM

Hii,

Can anyone explain me what is constant ohmic impedance type transformer(Power).

What are the other types and how it is related with the parallel operation.

It is a constant ohm trans.. that carries a set impedance of power thru a set of parallel wire windings that is made to not change and if change the opated device (or 's) will not be stable! percision power so to speak!

Different types are all in what they r made of!

The main reason for adopting the constant ohmic impedance characteristics for all standard transformers was to ensure that there is a constant fault contribution, to the low voltage bus bar regardless of tap position.
