09/30/2007 11:37 PM

Dear Engineers,

I would like to design a belt conveyor which more efective and cheap.

Length = 20 m, one input and two out put. one output is at the middle and the second is at the end.

What i am looking for is the mechanism for the middle output and the type of the frame, should i make girder or just stringer?.Thank you for reply me.

Regards

Robert

not possible- even with a shuttle conveyor or chain conveyor-re examine your needs and look at cema.org. Belt conveyors or plow conveyors will not work that way.

Assuming your products which will be conveyed on conveyor are like bundles or bags you may employ a pusher mechanism using pneumatic cylinder placed at right angle to the travel axis. When the product will come in front of cylinder it will operate and push the product outside the conveyor to travel to another destination

.Design the logic to remove required numbers

Make 2 conveyors, each 10m long. Divide your material at the end of the first, then drop the remainder onto the second.

What are you conveying, randomly placed articles or specifically oriented items?

Hi Friend,

The material to be conveyed is coal size 0 to 50 mm. Right now, i only use one conveyor. The mechanism i had apply is a stopper so that the coal will be storage at the first bunker, after the first bunker is full then the gate should be open by an operator sothat the coal will be convey to the second bunker. If you have a mechanism without and operator , should you tell me please.

Thank you and best regard,

Following steps may help

1 You can Make stopper movement by Pneumatic cylinder.

2 Fix level controller in the Bunker.

3 Let level controller control the operation of pneumatic cylinder

Use 2 conveyors one feeding the second inline and through a adjustable splitter. It can be made to divert some, none or all of the material to a third conveyer, hopper, elevator or whatever.
