Radiography for Weldolet Joint in Sour Service Oil Plant (H2S)

Good day..

I need advice, we are welling to conduct S/D for the plant to replace 5 weldolet joints, and then we will carry out RT survey for all joint.

we estimate the time for the RT to be 5 hours with preparation. the question can we reduce this timing? is there any possible way?

The time required would depend on a number of factors such as the thickness of the welds, type of radiation source, type of film. Maybe this will help.

If you have inside access, try panoramic technique. Use chassis with double film.

Undefined: <...S/D...> and <...RT...>. Acronym-finding websites are available.

The <...we...> can do anything it wants as CR4 is not a permission-giving entity.

However, remember the "Project Manager's Trilemma": time/cost/quality - anything done to improve any one of these three adversely affects the other two.

5 hours sounds like a good guess to me, but we really need to know the details of how you arrived at 5 hours before we can offer an opinion on how to reduce that time.
