First you have to learn how to weave your Nitrogen using a Sateen or Jacquard weave blanket pattern. These two weave patterns are the only ones tight enough to prevent the transformer windings from becoming tangled.

The manufacturer's literature can explain it far better than some anonymous person who Googles it for you without knowing any specifics.

Find the manufacturer's nameplate and contact them for specific details about your transformer.

Or, list the specifics here and someone will Google it for you.

They'll have a very cold transformer with liquified nitrogen.

Hi Red, nice to be back here again.

Well, isn't it costly to introduce superficial cooling on a transformer? Must be in a very important application. 99.99999% superconducting coils and transforming.

It's far more costly to not cool something that requires cooling.

If one did cool a transformer with liquid nitrogen it would introduce far more engineering complications than any benefits.
