Industrial bookbinding machinery equipment

Hello ,

making some student research ...

Does somebody know about market shares of "bookbinding machinery equipment" ? ( performance of these machines is to assemble 1500 books / hour for small machines , up to 20 000 books / hour for high capacity machines)

1) european companies like Muller Martini,Wohlenberg , Kolburg , italians? swiss ?uk's?

what could be yearly manufactured quantity per year in Europe ?

2) american manufacturers ? who ? market shares

what could be yearly manufactured quatity in the US ?

you forgot the FBM, Wohlenberg and Pitney Bowes but unfortunately my back ground is from envelope overprinting. I just added the above links so you can maybe find a bit more by digging deeper.

Just out of interest, why did you choose a subject in a dying branch of industry?

I serach to have some numbers , market shares of the main market actors making "industrial bookbinding" manufacturing lines ; I know that worlwide sales are roughly 7000 bookbinding lines manufactured & sold per year , where 60 % manufactured in Europe ; so I wish to know ( roughly ) what % are made per main manufacturer ?
