Lanthanum hydride has been found to conduct at a balmy temperature of -9 degees F or -20 degrees C, at a pressure of about 1 1/2 million atmospheres.

At that pressure my hand would be squished.

Nonetheless it certainly is a step closer to warmer temperatures. I wonder at what magnetic flux level the Meissner effect collapses the superconductor effect. Maybe they can now get funding to make a bigger piece so they can test this.
