I too have trouble with maths... (and I still manage pretty well!)

I feel that understanding can be far more valuable initially. You can't apply the maths or arithmetic if you can't understand the problem.

I always get confused by vectors and light diagrams as the lines seem to be drawn in an almost arbitary fashion which pre-supposes you know the answer! And maybe that's the point if you understand how it works you can put your vectors and rays in the right place.

I hope this is of some consololation.

Simple 1 + 1 = 2 WRONG.

1+ 1 = 11 The day you learn this you'll get over all your problems.

1+1=11 is wrong, too. 1+1=10.

In binary code 1 + 1 = 3.

You are of course correct in binary, but it sure doesn't help the original poster...

By the way, original poster, what is it you would like to know? Please restate your question, if it was intended to be a question. Otherwise it appears to be a simple confession and expression of frustration. What math training have you had? We all have our limitations (I'm great at ordinary trig, but haven't the slightest idea what a cosh is, and unfortunately close to useless in calculus). You do need to learn the math related to whatever field you intend to work in. I can't imagine any field of mechanical engineering where geometry and trigonometry are not basic.

Nah, if you round up rather than down

1 + 1 = f

1 + 1 = infinity

1 male rabbit + 1 female rabbit = infinity number of rabbits.

For your problem, keep studying and do more exercise.

Also look at if this is really what you want to do. If you really have problem, you may want to get into another area.
