Comber Machine

I'm looking for a book or a publication that speaks about the method of joining an incoming lap with an outgoing lap in a comber machine; the publication must be earlier than 1990. Where can I find anything like that?

It's rare thing ,available only in textile engg libraries.By the way which fiber & machines
