Happy Turkey Day to all. Please take a moment to remember all our service members around the world celebrating away from their real families but with their service families.

My fondest memory was Thanksgiving, 1969, where I volunteered my CH-47 Chinook to spend the day delivering hot meals and cold beer to troops in the field in Vietnam. Those guys never got a day off. My crew eventually got back home for left overs but it was still one of my most rewarding days in the service.

Well Thanksgiving day is over and we're all thankful - thankful we don't have to wait that long for lunch everyday!
