Can anybody help me giving some detail on Rubber sealing parts rejection/failure data across any industry.

There can be avaerage,rough figures.

You are asking for detail, yet you don't give any. What specific industry, materials, type of parts, etc? Other factors: your tolerances, your manufacturer, who made the molds, the type of gum rubber, the additives, the shrinkage rates for the materials being molded, the experience of the molder with your material, etc. The list go on and on. I can help but not without some specific info.

Any rejections above 0.28% indicate a lack of statistical control of the process if it is capable, or that it is not in fact capable. If your rejections are above this value, fix your process.

Thanx for interest shown to reply.

I could able to get the info on the modes of failure.

Actually what I need is some rough or statistical data from the Supplier perspective showing rejection vs supplied over the period.

Rejection may as DOA(Death On Arrival) or during the working i.e failures.

Please reply if you any data or chart kind of info.
