what is current carring capacity in copper busbars?.

2.24 mm wire equivalent wire in sqmm

I thing you required the current rating for 2.5sq.mm copper wire. This rating will be

18amps only.Any other things reply please.

In domestic electrical wiring, 2.5mm2 solid-conductor twin-and-earth cable is commonly used in domestic ring-main circuits that are rated up to the capacity of a 32A breaker and in spurs off the ring. If a circuit is wired in 2.5mm2 as a radial then the breaker must be down-graded to 20A.

Current carrying capacity of busbar depends on the corss section area. Please refer to NEC for current density of busbar..1000amps/in2 or 1.55amps /mm2
