Sounds like Drax's main focus is harvesting money from the U.K. government.

By that statement, anyone would think there is something wrong with that ambition! The policy incentive is there to be taken advantage of.

There is a risk of this branch drifting into the political domain, which is not the intention, and no further comment will come from this username on this branch.

Nothing wrong with that ambition, after all, a corporation's fiduciary responsibility is to its stakeholders and hence they are duty bound to maximize their returns. In this case, the most profitable course of action for the corporation is to avail themselves to the policy incentives paid for by the people.

What a sad state of affairs....

It's still a combustion process. Plus the technology to develop the carbon capture still has to be developed (with government help.) It doesn't sound very probable to me.
