Check PFONLINE.COM. They refer to several directories of consultants. I have to believe that California has gobs for experienced folks due to local regulations etc.

Hello Jay,

I am a technical sales reps for a paint supplier, depending the type of work and the market you are looking for there are some paints (powder, UV curing, waterbase, 100% solids paint with 0 VOC, etc) and spray equipment you should consider.

Setting up a paint shop need expertise also in the field of: cleaning/sandblast room, filter system, air/cooling area, furnace, UV or infrared lights , mixing/spraying equipment , VOC regulation, fire hazard laws (limitation of qty of flammable material in the spray booth), etc...

The selection of a plural pump system or powder paint for example, may save you money : reduction in paint handling, minimization of fire hazard, lower VOC, increase efficiency of your painter etc...

If you need a second opinion send me an e-mail we can discuss the whole process...

To whom it may concern, My name is Thomas Thiel, I am looking for a company that can quote me a system that will spray a coating on the inside of a steel backed babbit based bearing (samples can be provided), I have a quote from one company which has the necessary items needed. we currently outsource this procedure but want to bring it internal. I am either looking for a turn key system to buy or a quote on for the items listed below. The system needs to have:

1- spray booth (table top)

1- diaphragm pump with 2 into 1 regulator, dual regulators, dual regulators, 5 gallon suction rods, and circulation kit.

1- explosion proof single pass paint heater.

1- 5 gallon SS agitator lid with air manifold assembly with quick disconnect.

2- automatic spray guns (Kremlin A-25 or similar)

2- Automatic circulating gun bases

2- Round spray nozzle and extension 3/4" with 360 degree spray.

1- desiccant air dryer with coalescing oil filter

2- ARO runaway valves model 63504 (or similar)

We would like the two spray guns to be activated by a push button. The guns could be mounted either above or below the part but needs to be adjustable. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call. Thank you.

Thomas Thiel
