Corona virus spread compared to SARS spread

In the video below compare SARS infection worldwide map at 1.11 to corona virus worlwide map at 1.14.

In both maps most of Africa is unaffected.

Is that because Africa has poor medical care compared to the west so the weak in Africa die off and what doesn't kill you makes you makes you stronger?

It's more likely that those large areas of Africa have fewer international travelers going to and from compared to the rest of the world.
