	Lots of people saw this coming. Nobody wanted to waste their time and money to prevent something that will never come. (Ignore the paradox of prevention.) Ebola gave us one warning. SARS then gave us another warning. Antibiotic-resistant diseases continue to warn us. Were there diseases stopped before they became a catastrophe, there probably were.
