The excerpted statement is indeed meaningless. What needs to be known is if and how that percentage varies with car price. The quoted portion of the article doesn't say. One might wonder what else was said but not quoted.

But then, consider the source.

Now if they were to say that the economically challenged drivers were more likely to have a warrant or be driving on a suspended license and therefore break fewer traffic rules, well then I would say that's certainly possible, and in fact probable...

How are they defining "luxury cars" ...$60k +....are you trying to tell me that nearly two thirds of the cars were luxury categorized...? No I'm not buying it...

Yesterday I was rear ended by a young lady who ways acting and looking like a trailer park mash up of lady gaga and Gwen Stefanie driving her Audi A4 her vanity plate was two letters in length to show just how cool she was.

I was slowed to a near stop because the traffic light was flashing red and saw her coming up behind me fast and boom!.. I was surprised her airbags didn't deploy and I looked back to see the front of her car pushed in and leaking fluid.

Fortunately when I finally got out to survey the damage to my vehicle, it turned out my hitch took the hit with barely a scratch.

..Maybe the wealthy don't want to put wear on the break pads since the dealerships they get their work done charge so much to change their pads?

Isn't the presence and closeness of other traffic a factor?

Isn't time of day a factor in determining the urgency of behaviour, and therefore an influence on the likelihood of a vehicle stopping?

Speeding motorists tend to leave law-abiders behind and are less likely to be able to stop.

when we would cross the street or her on her own,... she never looked, and just crossed.... I would scold her, and she would just reply, she has the right-a-way.

more times than not, I pulled her out of harms way... until I replied to her reply about who has the right-a-way, with the reply I’ll make dam sure to add the epitaph to your tombstone “I may be lying here, but I did have the right-a-way”.

After that, she actually started looking.

Reminds me of army ants when relocating an army.

Each individual has his destination in mind and a goal,and they are very tolerant of bumping into each other without consequences.Every opening is filled immediately by the nearest vehicle that will fit,and the whole stream flows.

The only thing missing is the guards overseeing the whole shebang.

Scientist are saying the guards are there for defense from enemies,but I think they keep the ants in order,preventing the rouge ant from causing disruption in the flow.
